The Faraway Tree

Misty morning on the Swiss countryside. Each time I approached this tree, I was filled with optimism about what lay just over the horizon. This image was made with a vintage Diana camera from the 1950's. The resulting images have a very painterly quality which adds to the mystique of never really knowing what will be exposed by Diana.
